Coking Coal Testing

Standard Labs has 2 ISO 17025 Laboratories providing analysis on Coking Coal Samples. Every day these laboratories collect 18 drums of coking coal, over 2,700 pounds, that will be prepped (crushed, split & pulverized) and analyzed within a 24-hour period.

In addition to common analysis required for the steel industry, SL Middletown and SL Cannonsburg facilities also performs CSR / CRI testing to determine the coking coals strength.
