Unfortunately the company experienced some fires at both its Holden, WV and Pikeville facilities in 2003. Neither fire resulted in substantial loss, but caused serious and intensive safety and fire prevention training at all operations across the company.
2003 also saw the startup of a new lab in Warncliffe, Wv with Donald Kerns as manager.
