TRADET LABORATORIES, INC
A long history between Tradet and Std Labs begin back in the 1980s when Bill Kalb and Troy Stallard attended the meetings of the American Council of Independent Laboratories. This relationship continued through the years and resulted in an informal marketing arrangement with El Wagner, a former SGS lab manager in Clarksburg, WV and a merger attempt with Brenda Briley, a Std Labs lab manager from Fort Smith, AK which failed.
Eventually, Bill Kalb died and his wife continued to operate Tradet with Richard Whitt as manager. After a number of years they concluded it was best to sell the enterprise and approached Std Labs.
Rick Flesher and Don Merritt negotiated a deal whereby in 2019 Std Labs acquired the assets and operation of Tradet.
